About our Founder

I’m Tina Wynegar — founder of Your Grant Guide, author and creator of The Grant Playbook, and a lifelong problem-solver when it comes to accessing funding and navigating government systems.

Before launching Your Grant Guide or Wyn Partners, I spent years as the owner of a Certified Women-Owned Technology company doing business with federal and state agencies. I’ve worked inside government systems as a consultant for local and state agencies, and I’ve briefly experienced the private sector — but I found my purpose at the intersection of public good and practical impact.

When COVID hit, I founded Wyn Partners to help those left out of traditional funding systems — including artists, freelancers, and creators — navigate the world of grants and public support. Many of them had never interacted with the government beyond paying taxes. I helped secure the funding they deserved, even winning appeals and fighting through red tape when others said it couldn’t be done.

Wyn Partners continues to serve nonprofits, public agencies, and mission-driven individuals who are seeking real, sustainable funding. But as demand grew, I realized something important:

There simply wasn’t enough of me to go around.

That’s why I created Your Grant Guide — to teach what I know, share the tools that work, and empower others to build their own grant capacity or start their own consulting practices.

Over my career, I’ve helped secure more than $100 million in grants and programs, and I’m still just getting started. This work matters. And if you're here — chances are, your work does too.
